$22 Movie

I don't go to many movies anymore. I watch them, but I rarely schlep to a theatre to watch one. And after last weekend, it's becoming more and more clear to me why not.

My daughter and I went to Hotel for Dogs on Saturday.

My matinee ticket price: $7.75

My 8-year-old's ticket price: $7.50

One small bag of popcorn: $5.25

The two candybars I hid in my purse before going in: $1

I cringe to think what the family of five sitting two rows ahead of us spent.
