Superman Entitled

Critics have overlooked a glaring problem in the lastest caped summer hit ...

Last night I forked over $9 for Superman Returns. After a seemingly meandering start, the film screeched to a halt (for me) when the camera panned a plaque given to Lois Lane for her Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial. The plaque read for Lane's editorial "entitled 'Why the World Doesn't Need Superman.'"

FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! This is a newspaper award, people. Why in the world would the Pulitzer people write "entitled" when anyone who ever opened an AP stylebook knows the correct word is "titled."

Lois Lane is entitled to a raise for writing a prize-winning titled ...
